Paint protections

    well, there is no running away, it's already been done.
    Like I said in my OP, I had never heard of this type of treatment before.

    The impression I was given by the paperwork guy (you know the guy that comes in after the deal has been made)
    was that the car came with this, that it gave protection against acid rain, hard water damage to the paint, etc.

    It sounded as if I did not have a choice.

    It was not until later when I was going through all the paperwork that I saw the warranty card, googled the stuff and figured out it is something they applied at the dealership.

    The car shines really nice, the water does bead up.

    But honestly, I think I will just wash and wax it like we do any other car.
    For the Xzilon warranty, we just have to NOT use a car wash with brushes (which we never do anyway)

    I wouldn't do it on a leased vehicle either..........not worth it.

    With that said, there are other options. My truck was $800.

    Whoops......read that wrong. Yeah.......typically its a "wax" they put on - and sell hard......
