Nope, there is a lot of cost that goes into them. I think its around 30-40K just for the jig to sonic weld these things together.........

As for the Plastic welder. The initial equipment is expensive but the tooling isnt. If they have a universal machine its just the dies that need to be replaced. My old job had a few of them. THey used them for a few assemblies for the difibulators they make
they work for a little while then start to burn out. Saw many posts in the FB groups and forums on people complaining about them and the support is junk too
