Absolute widest tire on clads

    So.. yeah. Totally wanna do 295/40/20 on my stock rear clads. I'm wearing 275/40/20 now, with 245s up front. Any input? Probably a lot of no's, but has anyone seen them? I found one thread but the Photobucket pics have disappeared.

    Here's some pics to show the 275s. The bulge isn't too much.

    Also my camera sucks. STFU, moose.

    Should work. Might bulge out on a 9" more than it should.

    thats going to be pretty tall.......why not step down to a 295/35/20?

    Not really that tall. Only .6" overall diameter, so maybe 1/4" taller.

    I'm thinking they'd probably sit about like the way a 315 sits on a 9" wheel. Which I'm ok with.

    i see people mount 12.5 tires on 8" wide wheels on trucks all the time. You should be fine. Width wise on the car it should fit no problem.
