    Welcome, my son bought a new 2017 V6 with 20's...drives a TON for Coke sales, like 32k one year....he loves it!! Same color!

    Do you think a cold air intake would benefit me regarding performance with my 3.6? I put the K&N performance filter in the stock air box

    everything I have seen says that a cai alone won't do a whole lot

    basically to get the benefit of more air in you have to allow for better airflow out.

    I'm not sure which airbox you have, if it's closed like mine, it is already a CAI, just not a fancy one.
    The K&N will allow for better airflow, however, it also allows additional contaminates to get through.

    But I still run one (K&N) on our Ram 1500.

    What do I do to clean the contaminates out? I want to keep it clean.

    K&N filters are washable. From what I remember there is a cleaner and then after it is dried you spray the oil on

    Mine came with a CAI :D
