20.8 rims need bigger tires

    running 20.8 stock rims as you can see....whats the biggest tires i can run without buying new rims just yet?

    I think 255 is the widest tire most tire places will put on.

    ETA: I have read on the WWW of people with 8" rims getting 275's, but they either had to mount them themselves or go to a hole in the wall tire shop.
    Results are "mixed"

    I’m pretty sure your wheels are only 8” wide not 8.5”

    Yep. I ran 275/40/20 on my stock chrome clad 20x8 wheels for a solid year with no issues and I'm lowered. It threw my ESP off for a couple of months during hard corners. After that it was all good.
