i was surprised to look in the trunk of our '17 Scat and find no spare, just a kit with a tire pump and tire goo. Called the salesman and was told the idea is to call roadside assistance or use the pump to get you somewhere. I'm not one to sit on the side of the road waiting for someone to come get me, not since I was in high school calling my dad, anyways. Bought a kit from https://performancespare.com/ - tire, jack and tools. Fits in the truck and I feel better knowing it's there.
I laughed when I saw the pump......... I'd be a bit leary running with a skinny on the rear though....
I'll choose the skinny over sitting on the side of a Texas road for a couple of hours. One good thing about the 4 piston brembos is that the skinny fits front or back.
I figure getting this, we will probably not need it, but without some kind of spare, we would end up with a flat on a Sunday afternoon on a lonely stretch of highway.
shame it won't fit over the 6 pistons.......double change if you get a flat on the front. But, I get it. Though, I think that spot is going to be used for something else in the future on my car
