I haven’t received anything for mine yet. I checked the nhtsa site and they said that manufacturers have 60 days from the time of the official recall to notify owners.
I have an appointment this Saturday at 10:30am to have a recall done, I just can't decide which vehicle to do first. Most likely will be the truck since I would have to take the tazer out on the car.
Of course, since I have headed to California for work, the radio was dead on the Charger this morning. I had my wife try a few things to reset it, nothing worked. So she takes it to a dealer, and they told her that apparently, it was doing an OTA update which failed, so they installed the latest uconnect update. While she was there she asked about the cruise control update and they ran the vin and told her our Charger does not have the cruise control that is affected. -strange
I don't know. seems hokey. but neither the dodge website or the nhtsa sita shows a recall when I enter the vin.
I have an appointment on the 11th to get it done on the car. My last appointment I decided to get the truck done. the actual update takes about 20 minutes, but until they took my truck into the shop and then parked it afterword and got me the key i was there 35 to 40 minutes.
My car has not shown the recall either. It has to get 5 month maintenance done next month so I will ask them about it at that time.
