Ordered my adjustable upper control arms this morning. When they come in i can make an appointment to have them installed and finally get this done and the car aligned.
Same control arms. The difference is the combination of shocks, struts, and springs, and the spindles. The 6.1 and up spindles that use the brembos are made completely different from the 5.7 and down cars. They are made to allow for the extra inch height difference and also to clear the oversized brake calipers and wider wheels.
I knew the spindles were different, and that could possible here where the difference is to for the camber
And maybe I should clarify. The back wheels were out bad negative camber wise....the fronts are not horrible and most people would prolly not worry or would think the little extra negative camber looks better. I personally don’t like the extra negative camber look, so that is why it am going through this.
to be fair its "so much trouble" because its a learning process for me and I don't have competent shops around me. Had I known what to do I would have gotten everything needed from the start and if I had knowledgeable shops around me it would simplify everything also. and your car is also an R/T smartass lol
The ball joint slides in and out to adjust for positive or negative camber. It’s done once during the alignment.
